The Woman in Man

Wind is blowing
But there ain't no breeze,
I can feel his soul
Shatter and freeze.

I feel he knows
How incomplete he is.
Without her music,
How offbeat he is.

A piece in him
Was discovered and filled,
And now without it
He just feels unskilled.

I wish the man in her
Was just right here,
The woman in him
Could have used some care.

How insecure she feels
I see right through him,
Confused, discombobulated
Either she'll sink or swim.

Strong face he thinks
He must put,
In the hope of serenity
He must afoot.

Hide it and crush it
That's all he knows
Yet the woman in him
Stays and glows.
